Gembol handicraft

Crafts gembol by society Kendari also known as craft "wood tumor." This is because the basic material for the craft was taken from the root timber that resembles a lump of tumor (disease) in humans. The material is usually obtained from a variety of large trees that grow in the region of Southeast Sulawesi.
Gembol craft that developed in the city of Kendari, first introduced by the Japanese army invaded the Province of Southeast Sulawesi. This was the inspiration for the Japanese army to process into various forms of crafts.
