Tilanga Natural Hotspring
TILANGA is a natural swimming pool that far from clamor of city. Formed on the rock and surrounded by lush trees, complete with sounds of nature. It is an attraction of Tilanga. It is natural, cool, and peaceful.Location of Object
Tilanga located at Sarira Village, Makale District, Tana Toraja Regency. It's about 15 kilometers south of the Rantepao Town or 12 kilometers north of the Makale Town.
Overview
The bathing place is a natural pond with spring in it. Size is wide enough, about 15 x 25 meters with about three to five meters depth in a certain part. Niche shapes on a rock uniformly. Some part of the natural ponds dominated by stones directly connected to stone wall around it.
Around the pool, there are many large trees and bamboo trees that shade the bathing water. The sun shine can only penetrated from foliage gaps and creating beautiful shadows. Dance on the surface of water. Occasionally older and dry leaves fall through to the water.
Eels that freely swim become a unique one of this object. Not disrupted by a man who was swimming with them. Can be cracked joke or fed. But do not arrested and taken away. Native will be angry because it is regarded as sacred animal.
Not far from the pond, a place available to change clothes. But managers do not provide swimming clothes for rent. If you bring clothes to change, just plunge into water and feel it chilly.
Access
Tilanga tourism object can be reached from Makale ot Rantepao Town by private cars or hotel transport facilities. Tourists can also ride public transport (petepete) from both cities. But must continue by walk far enough.
