Tiro Tasik, Higher Side of Toraja
THIS is a scene of nature that will be difficult to be forgot. Tiro Tasik is a tourism place where tourists can enjoy the view towards offshore. It is located in a higher part of Tana Toraja. Visible green in nearest part and blue in distance with obvious gradation. The blue sea is shimmer by the sun.

Tasik Tiro is located approximately 12 kilometers north of Rantepao Town, Tana Toraja Regency, Province of South Sulawesi Selatan, Indonesia
Overview
As far as eyes look there are Bone Gulf, the gulf between the "legs" of Sulawesi Island that separates South Sulawesi Province and Southeast Sulawesi Province. Sometimes ships appear even though very small.
Looking to the south, it appears natural part of Toraja panorama with beautiful valleys, hills, rice paddy fields and neatly arranged. Looking to the west, it appears Sesean hills that highly mounted with rocky stones and arabica coffee trees. In the north, the dense rain forest soothing eye.
Throughout trip to Tasik Tiro, tourists can see Rea Tongkonan, Belo Sa'dan, Tammuan Allo 'Buntu Lobo', Pambalan, Pantu, and Belo Bua ', old and young womens, swinging balida, traditional weaving instruments to create paruki' (carved woven).
Access
Tiro Tasik can be reached from Makale or Rantepao Town with private cars or hotels transport facilities.
