D2. Mt Bromo Sunrise & Penanjakan Peak Tour – Transfer to Kalibaru (BLD)

Trip Duration: 5 hours
At 3.30 in the early morning you'll be wake up and the Jeep will bring you to the world's most famous view point at Mt Penanjakan on the rim of the Tengger caldera to enjoy the sunrise (if we're lucky) with its young volcanic including Mt Bromo and an active Mt Semeru in the background.
Afterward the adventure continue to an active Mt. Bromo volcano to climb up 245 step of stairs (Horse ride is optional). Then the Jeep will bring you back to hotel for breakfast and re-packing. Next we continue our trip to the Kalibaru passing a dense tropical rain forest. Lunch is included. Arriving at Kalibaru, join mini plantation tour featuring coffee and cacao and tropical spices. Stay overnight at a home stay.
Dinner will be provided at hotel.

D3. Kalibaru – Bayu Lor Tour – Transfer to Ijen Crater area (BLD)
Activity on Site: 4 hours
Trip Duration: 3 hours
After simple breakfast at the home stay, transfer to Bayu Lor Plantation. It is a beautiful scenery place formerly known as colony, which land is arranged by their own. The people live in six villages; they survive from abaca, coffee, clove, coconuts and spices planted, you also can have a relaxation time while enjoying the locally grown coffee and local snacks in the waterfall viewpoint during the break. Next continue to Ijen Crater area for check-in hotel and overnight.
Lunch will be provided at local restaurant while dinner will be served at local restaurant/hotel.

D4. Ijen Crater Trekking – Transfer Out Ketapang (B)
Activity on site: 6 hours
Trip Duration: 2 hours
Early in the morning short transfer to Paltuding Ranger Post for starting Ijen Tour, Breakfast will be arranged from the hotel (picnic style) - Ijen Crater shows a special type of volcanic feature common to Indonesia, about 1 km in diameter and 175 meters deep. The floor is covered completely by a warm lake, milky blue green in color, held back by a dam built many years ago by the Dutch, in order to keep the hot mineral, laden water from raining for the crop lands below. After finishing the unforgettable trip, transfer out to Ketapang Ferry Terminal (ferry to Bali) or back to Surabaya.

(B) = basic type accommodation: Usually very simple, mostly pretty basic and sometimes not clean. The emphasis is on the journey, not the accommodation. Simple guesthouses, home stays and National Park lodges to name a few.
(S) = standard type accommodation: Clean and comfortable but simple - variety and character are the hallmarks we seek.
(C) = comfortable type accommodation: Its all about combining comfort and character - average 3-4 star standard.
